Nature's Oath
Nature has suffered in the recent history of Hydaelyn and in reply a new organization aims to restore that which was lost and prevent it from happening once more. Nature’s Oath is it’s name and it’s aim no it’s mission is to restore the balance of the world and the universe be it through direct or indirect means.Indirectly they fund efforts to rebuild farms and deforested areas and directly they run various manner of fundraising events and even tackle some issues themselves, such as cleansing corruption from areas and dealing with those who would seek to tip the balance.
Currently the organization has branches all over the world though is lacking in most areas outside of Othard and Ul’dah. They seek to convince other nations of the world to allow branch buildings to be owned so that they charity can have a base of operations wherever they go allowing for better utility when dealing with the issues of restoration.
It calls for people of all races and backgrounds to join its efforts for a goal as lofty as this requires a varying amount of skills and knowledge and is willing to pay for such for those who do not work for free though it does not take on those of the criminal world nor those who would harm nature otherwise.
Rules
General Rules
1) No Discrimination of any kind will be tolerated be it about creed or colour or sexuality/gender Idenity. Breaking this rule will result in removal. People need to be able to be who they are without fear.
2) Don’t be an asshole full stop this means respecting everyone around you, this means no starting arguments for no reason, no um actuallying people and being an all around jerk.
3) Please be over the age of 18! We are not a erp fc but we would prefer it if everyone involved was an adult.
4) Please be as involved as you can be while we understand real life comes first; we don’t wish to just become an alt housing unit.
5) Respect the Company Chest. If you want to take something especially valuable or not easily replaced, please ask first
6) Please keep disputes out of the discord and make an officer aware of any issues you have with other members, all complaints will remain anonymous.
Roleplay Rules
1) Respect boundaries of folks in and out of character. No one is obligated to participate in events or scenes that they don't want. If someone says that they are uncomfortable with something, listen. If any of your RP will contain themes that may make someone uncomfortable, please notify others that might participate.
2) Consent is vital, make sure to ask for such when roleplaying with each other or just about anyone really.
3) No metagaming or powergaming will be tolerated
4) We are lore flexible but largely adherent. We encourage creative takes on magic in Eorzea! Some limitations still apply, however. We currently do not accept voidsent, characters from the First, or connections to the WoL or major characters in ongoing FFXIV MSQ.
5) To this end, keep discussions of lore focused on positivity; please do not turn them into fact-knowing dick measuring contests. This game has many gray areas and if someone's interpretation is different (and doesn't break our limits) but doesn't affect your RP, live and let live.
Ranks
Oathkeeper
The founder of the Organization and as such a unique role only belonging to Kahless Tarikh
Flower Tender
The Deputy leader of the Organization who deals with the day to day and aids the Oathkeeper in all duties.
Branch Manager
Branch Managers are usually those who oversee a particular branch office or aid in the running of said office and coordinate with the locals and those who require funding. They are basically the voice of the Organization while the Root Keeper and Oathkeeper are occupied.
Root
Akin to their natural counterparts the Roots are the rank and file of the Organization and the faces of the movement. They go out and tackle a lot of the fundraising and missions, truly the meat of the operation.
Leaf
Members who have completed their probation period and are fully fledged within the group. They will be taught more and more of the inner workings of the Oath. They will slowly be trusted with more and responsibilities and put through their paces.
Sprout
A recruit and potential member of the Organization who is currently in their probation period.
